Day 5 Disco

1970s saw a revolution in Hollywood, the solo male bandstand style swing dances, were replaced by boys and girls dancing with disco lights, glossy clothes and very typical rhythmic music. You can say when tap dancing supported by hand movements usually up and down and fancy clothes and highly dependent on music which has high-pitch vocals, steady drum-beats and bass line can be defined as a disco dance. Few common dance steps include side stepping , raising your arms overhead, large hip and pelvic movements, and twisting your hands in time to the beat. A few common disco dance steps include pivot turns, foot stamps, and shoulder rocks. Most of the steps in count of 1-2-3-4..

1980s in Bollywood was greatly influenced by Bappi Lahiri and his disco hits. In 1982, an entire movie was made on the life of a disco dancer, and ever since this movie was hit, the main lead Mithun Chakraborty is worshipped as Disco God.....Enjoy this song from Disco Dancer..Music, disco lights, costume, steps...all uniquely identifying DISCO...
